Our Neonatal-Perinatal faculty and fellows remain in the hospital overnight and are available to the obstetrical team in times of emergency.

Advanced training and years of experience help us stabilize newborns with life-threatening conditions, such as infections or breathing disorders. We can coordinate care of premature babies and those born with a serious illness so your baby receives specialized care from our wide selection of pediatric subspecialists. Many children with birth defects, critical injuries or serious diseases who can't be helped elsewhere come to OU Children's Hospital.
