High-Risk Outpatient Clinics
If your infant was born prematurely or had a difficult or lengthy stay in the hospital, you can rest assured that your baby will receive the highest level of care even after discharge from the hospital.
Our Neonatal-Perinatal faculty and fellows see high-risk infants after hospital discharge in conjunction with the care given by your baby's regular doctor.
Advanced training and years of experience help us work with your baby's regular doctor to coordinate the care of premature babies and those born with serious illnesses. We also work closely with the Oklahoma Infant Transition Program that ensures you and your baby are connected with resources in your own community.
No other hospital in Oklahoma City has highly-trained physicians that will continue to monitor your baby's growth and development after discharge from the hospital's Neonatal ICU.
Clinics are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at The Children's Hospital.
